General Visa Guidelines for International Patients:
- Medical Visa or OCI card (overseas citizen of India) is mandatory for foreign nationals seeking medical treatment in India.
- The must-have a medical visa/OCI card for any treatment including investigations, diagnostic tests, indoor admission of the patients, major operations, interventions, and all advanced fertility treatments.
- Foreign nationals can only at the best go for an OPD consultation with a nonmedical Visa.
- In case of emergency, A regular Visa can be converted to Medical Visa.
- Patients have to apply for the conversion at the regional FRRO office.
- Couples with Foreign nationality and OCI cardholders are barred from seeking surrogacy in India. They can avail of fertility treatment for themselves under Medical Visa.
Commute & Stay in India for Surgery or IVF Treatment
Laparoscopy or any other surgery at Rupal Hospital:
You can have your initial consultation after sending us your details by filling up the contact us form or online Video Consultation (Book an Online Video Consultation). For any laparoscopic surgeries (e.g., total laparoscopic hysterectomy, fibroid removal, ovarian cyst, endometriosis, hernia repair, appendicectomy, cholecystectomy, etc.), the maximum stay will be 7 to 15 days.
Fertility or IVF Treatments:
If you have not had a fertility evaluation done before, you can have your initial consultation after sending us your details by filling up the contact us form or online video consultation (Book an Online Video Consultation). We would advise you on how to plan your visit to India. You would have to undergo Pre IVF assessment at our clinic, following which will outlay your
treatment plan.
The Pre IVF Assessment takes at the max three days. Depending upon the type of treatment, you may be required to stay between 3 to 6 weeks.
You can plan your stay in India so that you can have the fertility evaluation and treatment in one go. Or If you are coming down for a week, say, we can get the initial assessments done and based on the assessment and advice plan for your treatment in the coming month, taking care that your stay reduces for lesser days.
General Visa Guidelines for International Patients:
We will need the following details for issuing a VISA assistance letter:
- Husbands name and Age
- Wife’s Name and Age
- Scanned copy Passport (page 1, address page) of both husband and wife.
- Complete residential address.
- Tentative date/month of your arrival
